Join Involve and Coventry Carers for a significant co-production and engagement workshop where we will be discussing the new persistent physical symptoms service with Senior NHS commissioning Manager - Eleanor Cappell and the new clinical lead for the service Dr Jane Everett.

Time & Location
27 Feb 2019, 13:00 – 15:00
Vicroft Court Community Room , Queen Victoria Rd, Coventry CV1 3JL, UK
About the event
We would like to invite anyone with experience of living with, or caring for a loved one experiencing a medically unexplained symptom to join us on an evolving journey in helping to co-produce the new service and consider:
· A name for the service
· Different ways and preferences in engaging patients
· Shaping the design of the service
· Testing and challenging our thinking to date
We also want to reconnect with the people who have previously attended our engagement workshops for the Medically Unexplained Symptoms service. (MUS), This is the third in a series of engagement and co-production workshops where there has been involvement and collaboration with NHS Commissioners, Coventry Carers and Involve.
Progress to date has been informed by the discussions form the last workshop, as agreed the service will focus on well being, standard assessments of mental health and measures of improved ability to function in everyday life.
The newly appointed clinical lead for the service, Dr Jane Everett has expressed an interest in meeting with the group of people we engaged with in 2018.
